Next in celebrity line for the PRO SHOW, is Mr. RANJITH GOVIND.

Ranjith is one of the leading young singers in the film industry.  Holding a B.Sc degree in Physics from Madras University, Ranjith is well-trained in Carnatic, Hindusthani and Western Classical music. He also knows to play the piano and Mrudhangam.

He became popular when he won SUN TV’s  singing contest Saptha Swarangal in 2001. Ranjith started his career as a playback singer in Telugu. He made his debut in the Tamil film industry in 2002 with the song ‘Hey Penne’ from Aasai Aasaiyai. However the song which gained Ranjith popularity was "Suppose Unna " from the film Sukran (2005).

Since then, he has worked with Yuvan Shankar Raja, Vidyasagar, Mani Sharma and many other music directors in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. He has sung more than 150 songs in Tamil and about 200 songs in Telugu.

Some of his hit numbers are Naatu Sarakku from Pudhukkotaiyilirundhu Saravanan, Ennama Kannu from Thiruvilayadal Aarambam, Dol Dol from Pokkiri, Oru Paarvaiyil from Siva Manasula Sakthi, Ennoda Raasi from  Maapillai, Vilayadu Mankatha from Mankatha, Nan Romba Romba from Siruthai and the latest Jingunamani Jingunamani from Jilla. 

He is the founder & lead singer of a fusion band in Chennai called "DRISHTI". He has had the great privilege of performing with the musical legend A.R.RAHMAN at The Unity Of Light Concerts and the 3 dimensional tour in India & Abroad...
