The SSN Music club

“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything    -    Plato.

It is rightly said that music is the medicine of the mind. It is an outburst of the soul. Be it love or  grief, music gives one the courage and motivation to convey the emotions which words struggle to. It is true that where words fail, music speaks. Music can be our friend, our playmate, our lover or a crying towel. 

There cannot be a feeling or an emotion that does not resort to or find relief  in music. It is music’s forte to induce in us infinite dreams and make us contemplate the invisible.

The Music club of SSN is an excellent portrayal of this art of high esteem. Proud of possessing some great talents, it has been the talk of the town on a number of occasions. From prodigal drummers to classic crowd-pullers, expert keyists to ‘Carnatic’ Vidwans,  the club has it all. With an excellent track record in terms of awards and laurels at countless contests and culfests, our music club is going places. Their events and shows are worth the wait, as we build up to INSTINCTS.

The ARCHIES form the mascot for the Music Club this year.
