ODE TO MY FRIEND

At once our friendship burst

As you snuck in and stole my trust.

Everytime I think of you,

It’s hard to realize I am not with you.

I couldn’t find right words

To write something for you…

The pattern called LIFE….

What’s this thing called life without you?

Life has it’s dark periods

That comes not in one or two but in myriads.

The past exists no more as our life makes many shifts

The future cannot be depicted but today is a God given gift.

Some time I fell a great deal to pay

But have so little to say!

As every feeling with you is bliss and emptiness

The way beyond what words can express.

When my heart fails in belief and hope,

Your love is the only rescue and scope.

The most beautiful moments are our life’s part

Which must be felt in our heart..

Let the life take me any place,

I will never forget your heavenly face.

No matter where I roam,

Your heart is my heavenly home,

Your beam of light will lead me on,

As I tread on life’s painful thorns.

And when I am low and blue,

My memories turn back to you.

Knowing you will be always there,

Whenever I need your love and care.

I have your sweet memories in my thoughts,

To contemplate them in sleepless nights,

And experience unknown strength!

If  the only place where I could see you always were in my dreams,

I would sleep forever and ever!!!
