UPDATE - DAY 3

Time flies. The last and final day of INSTINCTS 2k14 was upon us before we realised it. The day started off with the general and spent quiz Prelims that saw a huge turn out of veteran quizzers and novices. The know-it-alls were given a tough time, and the events went on spotlessly. The main stage had the street battle competition underway. 

The contest, judged by acclaimed international dance celebrities proved to be a crowd pleasing event that made the audience gawk and gasp at the stunts performed by the participants.  The Tamil Pattimandram, which had SUN TV fame Mr.Ramalingam as the judge and had a very lively topic about relationships, drew cheers and claps from each and every corner of the Main Auditorium. It was followed by the valedictory of SAARAL THAMIZH MANDRAM.

               

Then came the signature event of the day. The CELEBRITY VARIETY SHOW. With heavy weights lined-up, expectations were huge. The laughter juggernaut rolled on and on as the cast ROBOSHANKAR, VADIVEL BALAJI, ARAVINDH, TRICHY SARAVANAN and others gave non-stop entertainment for around three and a half hours. The crowd couldn't just hold on to their seats, nor could they prevent showing all their teeth off. 


The evening had in it, the Choreonite, called BOOGIETOWN this time. This night had both college and 

professional team performing. They were all phenomenally talented and held the audience spellbound. The judges had a tough time choosing the winners, which were SRM EASWARI in the college category and ALL FOR ONE in the professionals.

 

No last day of INSTINCTS is complete without the final speech by the student convenor. Rakkesh.G took centrestage to thank every single member that worked towards making INSTINCTS 2k14 the biggest show the college has seen so far..

Extremely pleasing was the turnout and the response we had for INSTINCTS this year. The smiles, the handshakes and the few celebrations filled the air with happiness and satisfaction. We hope the trend continues to be the same in years to come.
