Here is the Line-up of events for INSTINCTS -2014.

The English Literary club has always been an active part of the college’s annual cultural extravaganza, Instincts. Through the years the ELC, as we like to call it has come up with a number of events to cater to the literary crowd of colleges and universities throughout town.

This year, the ELC has put in tremendous amount of work and sweat in bringing the long lost quality back to the traditional events. Religiously working to bring the best of Lit events, putting the most creative minds and their ideas to effect, and striving to make sure that this may be the best Instincts yet.

Instincts 2014 will see seven major events – Parliamentary Debate, JAM, Creative writing, Shipwreck, Stress Interview, Elocution, and a Potpourri.  In addition to these seven, we bring to you for the first time in the history of Instincts, an array of online writing contests, spread over three weeks. These feature Flash fiction as well as Poetry.

In coordination with the ELC, the SSN Theatre Club more popularly known as “Lights Out Please” is going big this year with a few events to their credit. After two years of hard work to bring the Theatre team where it is today, they will be holding a theatre competition, with of course the much awaited host performance. After all, what’s a theatre face off without our own LOP showing us how it’s done?

With a combination of events to stimulate the mind, to trigger spontaneity, to bring out the comedian, to use your wit, to think beyond, to get creative and do what not has been done before, the ELC has not failed to bring forth the perfect concoction. All fingers crossed for what may just be the biggest year for us, and for you as well.
