MARCH the 13th - 6:30 PM
While I was travelling in the car with a friend one day, an AR Rahman song came up on the player and he turned up the volume infinitely, saying if you really want to get the "feel" of any song, simply turn up the volume and sing along! The volume killed my eardrums and the bass left me so shaky that I could barely sit straight. But as the song progressed, I understood what he meant! The bass just completes the song, makes it real. It is the oxygen of any song; you can't see it but there's no life in the song if there's no bass.
Have you ever wondered who fuels AR Rahman's songs with the bass effect that we all love SO much? Who's the bass guitarist who made Sonapareeya, Kadhal Sadugudu and Oh Maria a feast to the ears?
