ONLINE WRITING CONTEST - ELC

SSN’s English Literary Club has always been a major dynamic in the Instincts event repertoire. ELC’s focus has always been invested equally in both speaking and writing events, and this time around, we are trying to innovate and explore new domains. A fresh addition to the Instincts family of events this year is the Online Writing Contest. Featuring flash fiction and poetry, the event is specially organized to extend the celebration of magnificence that is Instincts to a wider audience who cannot afford their physical presence at the venue. For flash fiction, participants are to write a 120 word story based on a given prompt. The poetry event leaves a bit more room for elaboration, having a 750 word limit. Participants are encouraged to write poems about any topic under the sun, from Jessica Alba to Gandalf’s wand, the wind in the willows to your neighbors’ pond. If the glory of having participated in one of the finest cultural events in India isn’t enough for you, we are giving away exciting prizes every week! So what are you waiting for? Write on!
