Instincts is the annual, inter-collegiate cultural competition of SSN
established in the year 2006. For the past eight years, SSN has been hosting this cultural fest successfully. Now, it’s time for yet another one --
Instincts 2K14 -- for which SSN is
getting its battlefield ready for the war of the colleges, with several institutes
participating in the numerous events lined up by the host. This three-day
cultural fest has a variety of exciting events covering a wide spectrum of
interests, including Western Dance,
Indian Dance, Fusion Dance, Western and
Indian Music, Quiz, Pot Pouri, Ad-Zap, Creative Writing, Elocution, Debate,
fine arts, etc.,
The aim of our students
this year is to better the performance of the previous year’s fest and so, this
time, a team of more than 100 students are working round the clock to put
together this show. The dedication and hard work will definitely show on stage
with no student missing any classes for practices. The event is going to be a
great success due to the efforts of innumerable sleepless nights and working
till the wee hours of the morning.
Students are involved
in as many facets of the production as possible. It motivates the students in
a variety of activities aimed at building up their confidence and grooming their
talents in facing various interpersonal activities and competitions. Not
only is it a time to develop and showcase talent, but it is also a wonderful
opportunity to work together for a common cause, thereby developing an
appreciation of personal traits necessary for teamwork. I am sure that our
students leave no stones unturned to ensure that their college's fest is one of
the most talked about in town.
